About Alberta BC Safety
Alberta BC Safety (ABCS Safety Training Inc.) has been delivering OSSA accredited training programs since 2006. Additionally, we have provided safety training services to companies throughout Canada and the U.S. with over 500,000 workers trained to date. Clients may access their own training records and receive training discounts by becoming an ABCS Member Company.
We Provide Training On-Site
ABCS has full-time trainers located in Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray and Greater Vancouver. As a result our instructors are available to deliver on-site courses 24/7/365 for group bookings. We also have over 100 contract instructors (corporate training partners) teaching our courses for their respective companies.
PREQUALIFICATION PROGRAMS
ABCS is PICS and ComplyWorks certified. Copies of our HSE Program are available upon request for contract evaluation purposes.
WCB
All ABCS Management and Staff are covered by WCB. An Alberta WCB Clearance letter is available upon request for contracting purposes. All ABCS trainers booked for course delivery on client sites are ABCS employees (not contractors).
Commercial General Liability Insurance
ABCS holds $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability Insurance through Aviva Canada and adds their contracted clients as additional insured as requested. A certificate of Insurance is available for contracting purposes.
Fleet / Insurance
ABCS has $5,000,000 Automobile Liability Insurance through Dominion of Canada and adds their contracted clients as additional insured as requested. ABCS maintains a fleet of 13 trucks equipped for site access (fire extinguishers, buggy whips, and beacon lights, etc.). We currently hold vehicle passes for CNRL, Suncor and Kearl Oil Sands Sites. All ABCS drivers complete a winter driving fundamentals course as part of our new hire orientation program. A certificate of Insurance is available for contracting purposes.
