About Alberta BC Safety
Alberta BC Safety (ABCS) has been delivering OSSA accredited training programs since 2006 and has provided training services to companies throughout Canada and the U.S. with over 200,000 workers trained to date. Clients may access their own training records by registering on our website.
We have full-time trainers located in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Vancouver who are available to deliver on-site courses 24/7/365 for group bookings. We also have over 100 contract instructors teaching our courses for their respective companies.
Alberta BC Safety is an OSSA licensed training provider. The Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) is a non-profit organization made up of representatives from Syncrude Canada Ltd., Suncor Energy Inc., Albian Sands Energy Inc. and Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., as well as volunteer members from the labour providers, area contractors and education providers.
The OSSA’s objective is to bring together the current oil sands Owners to design and implement an agreed set of Safety Training Standards for the purpose of creating “an incident free workforce”.
