We provide in-house First Aid course delivery in Edmonton Training Facility and on-site delivery in Fort McMurray.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID WITH LEVEL A CPR

1 Day

*Minimum 10 Workers

This course provides basic training for immediate life-threatening injuries and illnesses. It also provides a basic level of CPR training. It is recommended to anyone within close proximity to medical aid. If you are not within close proximity to medical aid you should consider choosing a Standard First Aid course. This is an Occupational Health & Safety Approved course.

This one-day course covers the skills needed to recognize and provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Includes practical instruction on how to:

    • activate emergency medical services
    • recognize and treat for shock and unconsciousness for adults
    • recognize and treat a non-breathing casualty
    • recognize and treat a choking emergency for adults
    • recognize and treat severe bleeding
    • administer CPR to adults

This certificate is valid for three years. Annual retraining in CPR is recommended.

This is an Occupational Health & Safety Approved course.

STANDARD FIRST AID WITH LEVEL A, B OR C CPR

2 Days

*Minimum 10 Workers

This course is recommended for anyone wanting a basic level of first aid knowledge. It also provides a basic level of CPR training. This is an Occupational Health & Safety Approved course.

This two-day course covers the skills needed to recognize and provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Includes practical instruction on how to:

    • activate emergency medical services
    • recognize and treat for shock and unconsciousness
    • recognize and treat a non-breathing casualty
    • recognize and treat a choking emergency
    • recognize and treat severe bleeding
    • administer CPR
    • provide the necessary skills to conduct a secondary survey
    • recognize and treat upper and lower limb fractures
    • recognize and treat head and spinal injuries
    • recognize and treat eye injuries, burns, medical conditions, environmental illnesses

This certificate is valid for three years. Annual retraining in CPR is recommended.

This is an Occupational Health & Safety Approved course.
